Are there places in your school that are more unsafe then other parts? When this was asked i said 'yes'. I said it because there are places in my school that are unsafe then others. even if you want to believe it or not. They can stretch from the parking lots, to the bathrooms or cafeterias. Things that can be done are to take the school security to a higher level. You can get surveillance cameras in the parking lots, and have monitors for the bathrooms, so if something sounds unsafe, or a student is being taunted, a person can go and intervene.
For a person who has been victimized, getting revenge can see like the best alternative. Even if there seems like nothing you can do, there’s still a way to prevent any further negative things to happen. If a teacher sees someone who is getting bullied or picked on, they shouldn’t just turn there back, they have to go and try and see what has happened. If anyone of the teachers have went up to PeteI'm im sure someone could have talked him out of getting the worse possible revenge, taking lives.
If I found out someone was going to try and get revenge on the school, or do anything harmful to him/herself or to others, I would try and stop them. I wouldn’t try and to do it as if I was better then them and put them down, I would simply try and understand. Marilyn Manson was blamed for a school shooting and in an interview he was asked “if you could sit down with the shooter, what would you say to him?” in reply he stated, “I wouldn’t say anything, I would just listen to him, unlike everyone else.” Now, I personally do not care for Manson, but he brings up a point. If someone is being put in a situation where he needs someone to talk to, but is being avoided, someone should have the decency to talk to him or her and try and find out what’s going on. And even better, try and stop anything that can be regretful the next day.
