There are three characters in the story that are victims of prejudice. Jin wang is having trouble fitting in at school because some of the kids make fun of him. Like making jokes about what he eats and how he looks. The Monkey king is experiencing prejudice because he is a monkey and he wants to be something better. Wei-Chen is a Taiwanese boy you is friends with Jin and is also experencing the same prejudice as Jin is.
