This book is about a young girl named Lucy who lives with her foster parents because her mother went mentally crazy after the birth of Lucy. She soon becomes aware of a family curse that seems to be impossible the curse it that every daughter was to become pregnant at 18 and then go crazy after the birth, but to stop the curse she must perform the tasks in the old folk song her mother sang. I choose this book because the story plot seemed interesting and because I like mystery's.
