My book is Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. Thirteen Reasons Why is about a girl named Hannah, who committed suicide about two weeks prior from the present day setting in the book, and a boy named Clay, who has just recieved a box of casset tapes. Its not until Clay starts listening to the casset tapes that he finds out why he has been given the tapes. Before committing suicide, Hannah had recorded herself with thirteen reasons why she has decided to end her life. Each reason is due to a person and if Clay listens to the tapes he will find out his role in Hannah's life.
I chose to read Thirteen Reasons Why because the mystery behind why Hannah committed suicide intrigued me. I am also excited to find out the relationships Hannah had with other people besides Clay and what they had done to give her one more reason why she decided to end her life.
