Although in most countries the death penalty for minors has been ruled illegal, there are still some places around the world that use the death penalty as a sentence for minors who commit serious crimes. Children under the age of 18 are not adults yet and they can't even vote in America till the age of 18. It's not fair to take away there lives at such a young age when they still don't even have full rights as citizens of the United States. They are still so young and have time to fix their mistakes. Every person has different circumstances and reasons for the way they think and how they make their decisions.
The death penalty for minors has become a controversial topic until it was until it was finally ruled illegal in the United States. Unfortunately countries around the world still use the death penalty for minors. Children make mistakes its there job. Children learn from their mistakes and they learn from their elders and environment. Some children unfortunately do not have the luxury of living a good childhood. Sometimes elders teach there children not to do the right things. Broken homes and turbulent childhoods could lead to children doing bad things. When children are under these circumstances it doesn't excuse them from the mistake they made but it puts a new prospective on why they did what they did and why they made have thought it was ok. Putting all the blame on the child isn't fair and taking away there life for it is even worse if they never got a chance to be taught thew right way.
Also children learn by example. Children who are abused by heir guardians or see someone they love being abused really hurts them, but they eventually think its ok and thats how its suppose to be. Some are victims of abuse and some use the survival instincts they learn on the street. At young ages children are gullible and listen and watch what there parents or guardians teach them thinking its the right thing.
The death penalty for minors is in just. Children are young, hopeless, they make mistakes, do stupid things and don't completely have their own minds yet. They are trained to listen and do what there parents and guardians tell them. It's not fair to take away a minors life for a way they may have been taught to do things. They need a chance to learn and a good punishment instead of taking there life can teach them better.
