i think this is good idea. you should bring up the fact that they use it for medical reasons and that more people die from cigarettes than weed.

It's a good idea for marijuana to be legalized for uses like medicine but when its not used for a proper reason the person taking marijuana is mentally slowing themselves down (basically they are becoming more and more stupid). Also if a person is on marijuana while in highschool or college then that person is going to have a hard time finding a decent job and it could ruin their future. These are some arguments that could be thought of by the audience.

it should be legalized. Marijuana is good for in every way possible besides the damage it does to your brain and lungs. Cigarettes are way worse and easier to get addicted to.

This is exactly why I'm doing this essay, it doesn't make them more and more stupid, and it wont ruin their future, and not everyone is going to have a hard time in school.
